Bagues de fiançailles éthiques : Révolution de couleur
“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” is such a cliché. I love Diamonds, and I love Diamond engagement rings. But there is no law saying that your ceremony must feature a Diamond, or a woman for that matter. The point is that it’s your relationship, it’s your ceremony, and it’s your ceremonial jewelry. An engagement ring can take any form you like. It could even feature a bold and colourful stone like a Sapphire.
Not only do Sapphires come in a variety of colours, they are often ethically sourced. We work with different suppliers to find high quality stones in a variety of colours that are traceable all the way back to their source. Many of the Sapphires that we use are mined in Montana, sent to Sri Lanka for heating (a process which amplifies the natural colour), and then shipped to Montreal. We like working with these particular stones, because of the great care that our suppliers have devoted to ensuring the ethical treatment of everyone that is involved in the stone’s journey. They provide us with brilliant Sapphires whose quality and traceability we trust.
