About this gemstone
Aside from the unique colour, the origin story of this gemstone really captured my attention. I love that a woman found this stone, that she is paid fairly and that she is most likely feeling empowered and giving back to her immediate community. This beautiful and rare Sapphire comes from an exclusively women owned mine-to-market initiative based out of East Africa called Moyo.
The gorgeous gem would be best set in a Camillia Ring Setting or the Edel Ring Setting.
